From your 9 horsepower single cylinder Yanmar to 1800
plus horsepower twelve cylinder MAN engines & generators,
maintenance and repairs will always be a necessity.
Our service team is factory trained and has years of experience
prepared for any task. From oil changes to engine overhauls,
alignments to complete engine installations our team has the
knowledge and the tooling to complete the task. Our technicians
have the latest factory training from manufacturers such as Yanmar,
Northern Lights and MAN along with NZ Marine national
certifications.
When you choose Whiting Power Systems, you get the highest quality Driveline knowledge, propulsion and vibration service in the industry. We know Propellers, shafts, stern seals, bearings, rudders, steering, engine & strut alignment, hydraulics, stabilizers and thrusters. Our on-site Machine Shop allows us to provide in-house shaft straightening, marine fabrication, and welding.
We have set and exceed the "industry standard" for all power boat, yacht and work boat systems. We take extreme pride in our work.
Whilst marine products are in our blood we are fully conversant
with & support land-based diesel engines & related
equipment such as Pumps, Generators, Wind Generators & Solar
power products.
Our Service Manager and our team are on call to help talk you
through a problem even when you're at sea on a dark and stormy
night. Whether you are boating for adventure or earning a
living we understand the consequences of un-planned down time. Our
goal is to get you going as quickly as possible and to help you
protect your valuable asset.
We are located in Central Auckland between Westhaven Marina, the
Wynyard Quarter Super-Yacht berths and Viaduct Harbour. Our service
workshop & machine shop opens out to the Orams Marine
hard-stand with easy access to a 600 tonne slipway & 60
tonne travel-lift. The Pier 21 hard-stand travel-lift &
mast gantry & Orams Dry stack are only metres away.
Our friendly service team can be visited through our Beaumont
Street showroom & parts entrance.
