The development of the Dieselmax engine is typical of JCB innovation. Its simple design - aimed specifically at mid range off-highway equipment - gives it exceptional performance: high power, high torque at low revs, with low fuel consumption and low noise (89dBA).

Four valves per cylinder ensure optimum combustion performance and reduce emissions; the heavy duty bedplate improves rigidity compared to conventional end cap design, reducing vibrations; and the rear gear train technology ensures low noise. It also has two PTOs and is serviced from one side for maximum versatility and simplicity.

Because we started with a clean sheet of paper we looked forward to 2011 and beyond, designing the engine to comply with Tier 2/Stage 2, Tier 3/Stage 3a and then Tier 4/Stage 4 emissions legislation. So your investment today is well protected into the future. With NA, TC, TCA and TCAE CR variants, we offer power ratings from 55.3kW - 120kW (74hp - 161hp) or 50kVA to 110kVA Prime (generator sets).

The IPU`s feature full tropical rated cooling packages, heavy duty mounting feet, heavy duty air cleaner and exhaust installations, hydraulic pumps, fuel systems, high quality electrical engine harnesses and connectors as well as coming with triple auxiliary PTO options as standard. In addition to this we can also offer an extensive range of options from the JCB catalogue in order to tailor a package to your needs.

Attention to detail has been one of the most important keys with the IPU product. Each and every bracket, fastener, wiring clip and fan guard is subjected to 1000`s of hours endurance testing both in the field, on the screen and back in the lab.
